About the role

About the role

Provide timely and accurate Products proposals to customers to help meet and exceed sales goals. After order acceptance takes ownership of agreed deliverables together with Customer Services and any other function in order to honor the contract with the customer.

What will I be doing?

The following activities are a guideline; others can be part of the job scope:

  • Evaluate internal and external requests for Products quotations prepare timely and accurate proposals, within Delegation of Authority (DOA)
  • Participate in proactive outbound parts sales calls and campaigns and provide any reasonable support and contract leads to sales team
  • Adhere to pricing guidelines set by product management
  • Support customer services in order entry activity
  • Order follow up until end of the contract
  • Point of contact for customers and SUEZ personnel
  • Negotiate contractual terms with customers and work together with Contract Managers as needed
  • Drive customer responsiveness by focusing on cycle time reduction in the quotation process
  • Make recommendations and share best practices to continually improve processes
  • Coordinate relationships and interface with Sales team, engineering, manufacturing, sourcing, to ensure offering is aligned with our new or enhance existing product(s) or product line(s)
  • Liaise between Sales / Sourcing / Factories, customers and customer care when needed
  • Responsible for meeting all Customer CTQ’s on incoming request for quotations, including quote bid due dates and special requirements
  • Drive orders conversion by following up with Customers and/or sales on key opportunities
  • Responsible for disposition of quote opportunities in regard to win/loss/pending status
  • Translation in SAP language of the material requisitions
  • Assisting vendors set up
  • Assist with material search / availability
  • Track its own pipeline

What are the requirements?

Minimum Requirements:

  • 2 - 3 years’ experience in Commercial activities
  • Proof of strong work ethic and ability to learn and adapt to change
  • Proficient in MS Office applications
  • Strong written and oral communication in English
  • Experience using ERP systems (SAP)

Desired experience/skills:

  • Ability to work in a virtual team
  • Strong oral and written communication in one other language would be valuable
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Ability to communicate with customers directly
  • Water treatment industry knowledge is preferred
  • Previous commercial activity/good negotiation skills is a preferential element
  • Salesforce knowledge would be valuable
