About the role

About the Role

  • After 6 months probation - Basic salary will increase to £46,500 + London Weigting.
  • After 12 months -  Basic salary will increase to £53,500+ London Weighting.
  • *** Both of the above will be performance related ***

What will I be doing?

  • You will have responsibility to provide an effective and efficient EfW maintenance function through the planning and scheduling of maintenance and engineering tasks.  
  • The role also has direct responsibility for procurement and stock control procedures at a given facility.

What are the requirements?

Must have:

  • Completion of a recognised engineering apprenticeship or academic course.
  • Qualified to a minimum of ONC level.
  • Experience in using computer maintenance management systems (CMMS) - Mainsaver / SAL etc
  • Experience working in a regulated business environment.

DESIRED - Training will be given:

  • A minimum of two years supervisory experience 
  • A suitable health and safety qualification (IOSH Managing Safely or NEBOSH) 
  • Experience in using project planning software (Microsoft projects or similar).
  • An appreciation of Inventory and stock control systems
  • Stores / Procurement Management experience
