The role

To ensure appropriate practices and improvement plans are implemented at a site level to improve efficiency and profitability.  Activity mainly within the appropriate region. Will be expected to travel regularly within the Region and, on occasion, outside the Region to help co-ordinate activity at European Level

About the role

What will I be doing?


• Develop and own operational improvement plans and KPIs within the assigned Region;
• Ensure that improvement opportunities are monitored and realised at site level and are fully supported by Territory Managers. Ensure the associated plans are robust, realistic and included within Regional financial budgets when necessary;
• Responsible for the individual contracts’ margin improvement within the Region;
• In line with the Regional Technical Leader’s plan, ensure appropriate, optimum practices, systems and resources are in place for the full life cycle of all existing and prospective services within the region;
• Work closely with key staff within the region (e.g. but not limited to Asset Care specialists, Sales, Maintenance Performance Managers etc.) to deliver successful proposals and projects;
• Report, on a regular basis, on the progress of growth and improvement targets to the Regional Technical Leader;
• Ensure improvement plans have appropriate targets and monitoring systems which make full use of the WTS Toolset;
• Ensure the appropriate implementation of the WTS Toolset for all service delivery activity in particular respect to operation;
• Assist, and sometimes lead contract audit work;
• Assist, where necessary, to ensure successful service start-ups.

what are the requirements?

• Degree and post-graduate qualification in relevant Chemical Engineering, Process       Engineering, Water and/or Wastewater Treatment
 Experience required to do this role:
• Understanding of the Regional Services in place
• Understanding of the WTS Toolset
• Understanding of the WTS Service Portfolio
• Appreciation of the Suez WTS Portfolio
• At least 3+ years in the water industry
• Appreciation of business strategy development and delivery
• Proven track record of delivering complex multi-disciplinary service projects
• Computer literacy
• Appreciation of service delivery commercial risks
