About the Role

The role is based from our site at Longley Lane, Sharston , Manchester on a 4on 4 off ( 6am-6pm) shift pattern with a salary of £40,810 plus up to 10% bonus, van, 5% matched pension.

What will I be doing as a Maintenance Technician?

  • We’ll look to you to provide planned and reactive maintenance for all areas of plant, making sure plant installations and modifications meet the latest standards and regulatory requirements.
  • At the same time, you’ll be a valued member of the team, supporting colleagues across different functions and various sites across Greater Manchester. 
  • Our junior staff will look to you for guidance and supervision, as will contractors.

What are the requirements?

  • To join us in this key position, you’ll have an Electrical background with basic Mechanical knowledge, ideally with an Electrical Maintenance Apprenticeship , NVQ Level 3, 17th/18th Edition Wiring Regulations, City & Guilds Electrical Installation.
  • You'll have worked / be working in a Maintenance Engineer / Technician role in manufacturing / production engineering environments, having gained hands on knowledge of Industrial electrics – MCC’s, Inverters, Motors, Single phase & Three phase systems, safety circuits and an understanding of PLC's.
