You will lead projects in our Energy Recovery Centers, and be specialist for our new and existing DNOs and local networksIn return, we offer a salary of £53,246 - £62,458 plus company car/car allowance (~ £8,996), private Health Care, up to 20% Bonus (~ £12,491), Company Pension, and Benefits Catalogue.
Total Package at the time of joining up to £83,945.
You can be based anywhere in the United Kingdom, with 40% travel across the country. - About the role

What will I be doing as a Senior Technical Plant Engineer?
You will draw on your expert knowledge and experience, to provide specialist technical support to our energy generation facilities, throughout the UK. This will include facilitating projects aimed at process improvements in operations, maintenance and overall efficiency of our energy from waste, alternative energy and energy recovery plants.
- Running projects at individual sites and group wide process improvement projects
- Monitoring boiler chemistry across all sites to ensure compliance
- Mentoring and managing graduate engineers through the company
- Control performance monitoring of EfW’s and Perform process hazard analysis
- Undertake predictive modelling for asset health monitoring.
What are the requirements? (Experience and qualifications)
You will need to be qualified to degree level (or equivalent) in Electrical Engineering and have a strong background in power or heavy engineering environments, along with:
- Project management experience, developing, supporting and running multiple projects, aimed at improving availability and efficiency
- Ability to assess equipment at various sites, understanding specific technical requirements and needs.
- High Voltage , High Voltage Networks, Electric Network operators with Power Generation an advantage
- Good understanding of other disciplines
You will be working at different facilities, throughout the UK, so there will be the opportunity to travel, requiring time away from home. As an engineer with SUEZ you will be encouraged to advance to Chartered Engineer status, or you may be working towards it already.
