The role will be based at our Bebside HWRC working 38 hours a week. 4x 10 hour shifts day shift Every Friday, Saturday Sunday and Monday with a salary up to £30,906 plus bonus, pension.
You will be working as part of a Team of 5 Managers and Supervisors and expected to support each other to have the region working as a whole and assist to supervise other sites as required. You will need to be self motivated , responsible and with an ability to problem solve.

What will I be doing?
Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will be responsible for supervising the daily running of the site operations ensuring full compliance on 3 HWRC's. In the North and West areas of Northumberland
Ensuring the efficient deployment of staff and resources, this will mean you will need to:

work closely with the other members of the team and contribute to ensuring we provide the best service to our clients and customers

supervise site personnel and operations, monitoring quality and continually striving to implement process improvements

collating working hours of staff for payroll on a monthly basis, maintain budgetary control over operations, order equipment and resource for the site.
You will also be responsible for ensuring activities of all employees comply with SUEZ’s policies & procedures and relevant Health & Safety legislation.
What are the requirements?
You must be able to demonstrate a passion for recycling coupled with strong communication skills and be able to bring your experience of supervising and developing engaged teams to meet very high operational standards. Additional experience includes:

COTC Level 4 in Hazardous Transfer and Treatment is essential

IOSH/ NEBOSH or a similar Health and Safety Qualification is preferable or the ability to achieve this within 12 months.

Knowledge of the waste and recycling industry is preferred
