As an Operations Manager at SUEZ recycling and recovery UK, you’ll be contributing to an ever growing established company that’s helping customers reduce their impact on the environment, conserve natural resources and reduce landfill.

About the Role 

  • Salary: £54,843
  • 37.5 hours per week
  • Monday-Friday, 08:00-16:00

About the role

.What will I be doing?

  • Reporting to the EfW Plant Manager, you’ll direct day-to-day operations, making sure the facility runs smoothly.
  • Taking ownership and ensuring that we comply with environmental laws, regulatory standards and legislative directives, while managing staff, monitoring performance and keeping an eye on finances. 
  • Look for ways to improve the way we work, develop safe, efficient working practices and plan any other activities that may be required.

What are the requirements?

  • Having worked in the process industry before, you’ll already have a good idea of what operations management involves.
  • Know about environmental legislation and standard IT software. 
  • HNC (or equivalent experience) in Mechanical/Electrical/Process Engineering. 
  • Experience managing and getting the best out of teams.
