As a Regional Subcontract Manager covering the Central region at SUEZ recycling and recovery UK, you’ll be contributing to an ever-growing established company that’s helping customers reduce their impact on the environment, conserve natural resources and deriving value from waste.

About the role

The purpose of the role is to ensure SUEZ has a wide network of subcontractors to cover services that it cannot cover with its own fleet. In return we offer a salary up to £49,114 Plus Car/Allowance, up to 10% Bonus, Healthcare, Pension.

What will I be doing?

You will be working alongside the regional and national bid and operational teams to support the ongoing development of our Industrial & Commercial division.  Providing support to commercial and sales teams to ensure SUEZ has the best subcontract options to win new and retain existing business.  To do this you will be pivotal in supporting the regional subcontract teams, identifying new relationships to enhance SUEZ’s offering whilst leveraging performance improvements from our current portfolio of subcontractors.

What are the requirements?

Commercial acumen with financial and operational experience; ideally candidates will have at least 5 years’ experience of the waste and recycling industry. 

Ability to work autonomously to a remit by making decisions and implementing them.  The ability to manage projects and coordinate activity.

Experience of indirectly managing teams to deliver operational key performance indicators and service levels will be key to the success of this role.
