In return, we offer a salary range of £31,127 - £33,911 (negotiable) plus up to 3% Bonus (£1,017), Company Pension (3% ER), 20 Holiday Days + Bank Holiday, and benefits catalogue.
We'll help you progress and develop yourself further and will support you with creating a development plan to achieve that.

About the role

What will I be doing?

  • As an Inventory Controller at our Energy Recovery Centre, your role is crucial in ensuring our operations run smoothly and efficiently. You will:
  • Manage and oversee our stores inventory, ensuring spares and consumables are available when needed.
  • Control, order, and issue stock to support the continuous operation of our equipment, ensuring spares are promptly booked-in and correctly requisitioned out of our CMMS system.
  • Maintain accurate records using our inventory monitoring systems.
  • Take responsibility for the financial management of inventory, ensuring cost-effective stock levels.
  • Collaborate closely with the engineering team to support maintenance activities.

 

What are the requirements?

We're looking for someone who:

  • Has experience in an engineering environment, particularly within heavy industry.
  • Has knowledge, experience and understanding of supply chain processes within inventory control operations.
  • Is IT literate, with experience in CMMS and raising orders being highly desirable.
  • Is methodical and process-oriented, with the initiative to refine and improve inventory processes.
  • Demonstrates strong communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
  • Has a keen eye for detail and takes pride in their work, striving for continuous improvement.
  • A confident communicator, who will take ownership of the development and compliance of all our inventory processes.
