About The Role
Location: Victoria Road, Ruislip
- Salary £14.88 per hour / £29,892.08 annum
- Working 38.5 hours per week
- 4 on 4 off shift pattern
- Full PPE provided

What will I be doing?
You will carry out the operation of loading shovels, FLT & tele-handlers across the site, loading a variety of different types of vehicles such as curtain sided vehicles, shipping containers and bulk haulage walking floors.
The role will involve:
- To ensure the safe and efficient operation of fixed machinery, such as bailing machines.
- To direct customer’s vehicles to the various disposal areas and assist them with off-loading as required.
- To ensure the site is kept clean and tidy at all times.
- To assist Production staff with their duties during end of shift clean-ups and plant downtime.
- Contributing to lean and 5’s activities across the site in order to maintain a clean, organised and efficient workplace.
- To work as part of a team to maintain an efficient and cost-effective operation.
- Any other duties that are reasonably requested within the scope of the job role.
What are the requirements?
- In order to make an immediate impact, we are ideally seeking an experienced plant operator, who holds the relevant CITB/CPCS/NPORS certification or equivalent, but for the right candidate training can be given. We are looking for an enthusiastic team player, who will be expected to join the current site team to ensure site operations exceed the standards required, you will need:
- A flexible approach to work will be advantageous as you will be expected to cover holiday and sick days if required.
- A safety conscious approach with the desire to develop & embrace change to promote continuous improvement.
- Previous experience within the waste industry or other high-volume production processes is an advantage, but not a necessity.
