As a Business Assistant at SUEZ recycling and recovery UK Ltd, you’ll be contributing to a resource management company that’s helping customers reduce their impact on the environment and conserve natural resources.

What will I be doing as a Business Assistant?

  • Reporting to the Regional Manager, the Business Assistant will be responsible for providing accurate data management, administrative and financial support by coordinating the production and distribution of reports and data submissions for internal and external customers.
  • The successful candidate will work closely with a wide range of departments to ensure that the existing high level of customer service is maintained and improved where necessary.
  • Collating KPI reports to monitor production and contract performance
  •  Assisting with the administration of SUEZ local authority contracts
  • Supporting all operational sites with weighbridge contract management and assisting in the resolution of queries from key clients and third party customers. The Business Assistant is a key position, working alongside Managers and Supervisors in Northumberland.

What are the requirements?

  • With proven experience, applicants must be able to demonstrate that they are capable of working to deadlines and structuring workloads for themselves.  
  • The successful candidate must have strong communication skills and the ability to liaise with other teams within SUEZ. 
  • Experience of understanding internal and external customer requirements is essential.  
  • A track record within the resource management or waste industry is desirable, but not essential.
  • Candidates must be able to demonstrate a high level of IT skills, including data manipulation and report generation - plus the usual word, excel and powerpoint skills.
  • Ability to transfer these IT skills to bespoke resource management specific software packages is also essential.
