SUEZ Water Technologies and Solutions UK are currently looking to recruit a HR Assistant for its Laboratory Division. This is a fantastic opportunity to work for a 160 year old Multi-national that provides expertise in the Water Industry.

About the role

The role is a permenent position working part time from Monday to Friday, 22.5 hours per week, suggested hours are 10am – 2.30pm, but can be flexible.

What will I be doing?

To support the HR department in the provision of a high quality and professional HR service, supporting key initiatives and projects aimed at creating a positive, high performing workplace.

  • Support recruitment & onboarding, including preparing job descriptions, producing contracts, employee set up, and induction.
  • Assist in the administration of all HR policies and procedures;
  • Manage and maintain the Company’s HR system;
  • Manage and maintain personnel records;
  • Assist in providing advice to line managers on best practice in all aspects of employment, including company policies and legislation;
  • Monitor, update and assist in the introduction of HR policies and procedures as directed by the HR Manager(s);
  • Complete monthly and quarterly reporting on HR metrics;
  • Write formal correspondence to employees;
  • Deal with ad hoc queries as appropriate.
  • Support the implementation, maintenance & administration of employee benefit programs.
  • Assist all relevant HR processes throughout the employee life-cycle;
  • Assist in the planning collation and analysis of training;
  • Assist with payroll & pension administration;
  • Attend HR meetings and take accurate minutes;
  • Assist with HR projects;

What are the requirements

Educated to A Level standard or equivalent.

Ideally CIPD Level 3 in HR Practice or equivalent experience
