Experienced Key Account Director?

You can help create a greener UK. A greener, more environmentally-friendly UK is possible – and we’re making it happen.

As a Key Account Director at SUEZ, recycling and recovery UK, you’ll be contributing to an ever growing established recycling and recovery company that’s helping customers reduce their impact on the environment, conserve natural resources and reduce landfill.

What will I be doing?

  • Of our 40,000 UK business customers, you’ll be managing some of the most important. We’ll give you a corporate account portfolio worth circa £4m+, which you’ll do your best to grow.
  • You’ll deal with your clients directly but also be responsible for those of your Account Managers.
  • Your aim? To improve revenue and profitability; identifying opportunities to develop each account further by promoting the ‘circular economy’ – one where waste gets a second life.
  • You’ll also create action plans to make customer service outstanding and analyse customer needs to check they’re getting the right support.

What are the requirements?

  • With a keen commercial mind, you’ll be used to managing corporate-level accounts worth £1m or more.
  • You’ve worked in a B2B environment before and also managed more junior staff.
  • To succeed, you’ll need to draw on your experience of managing service levels; maximizing profit; and creating a great customer experience.
  • It’s also important that you can network with key stakeholders and comply with industry rules and regulations.
  • Knowledge of the UK waste and resource industry would be helpful, but it’s your account management skills that count.
