As the ETP Team Leader at SUEZ Industrial Water, a division of SUEZ Water Technologies and Solutions, you’ll be part of a team that provides a holistic service in the water industry. About the role

The Team Leader will be expected to pro-actively drive the Operational function by improving the reliability and efficiency of the Effluent Treatment Plant (ETP) assets at  Petroineos Grangemouth.

Critical to the success of this role, will be the day to day leadership, management and continued development of a cohesive ETP team, resulting in a proactive attitude and approach to improving the plant operating condition, and providing training materials and technical documentation.

 

What will I be doing?

Excellence in HSE systems

Control of costs and productivity of Operational staff and sub contractors

Control and management of PPE

Build recognition with Ineos for Operational Excellence and efficiency

Recognise improvements / gaps in the Operations of the Effluent Treatment Plant, Demineralisation and Cooling Water plants

Delivery of operational excellence

Development of operational improvement  programmes and policies

Co-ordination and supervision of sub contracts

Manage day to day issues for Technicians including welfare, conduct, behaviour training and development

Carry out personal performance reviews and agree personal performance plans in accordance with Company procedures

Development of sub contractors

 

What are the requirements?

Operational leadership experience within an industrial setting

Experience of leading all aspects of a team of Operational Technicians

Experience of directing teams and organising sub-contractors

Leadership and other practical hands on delivery

Self management on critical process plant

Working to strict HSE systems with high level of personal accountability

Operational problem solving and diagnostics (using technical literature)

Ability to read and interpret P&ID’s

Risk management and criticality assessment

HSE systems and legislation

HNC/HND (minimum) in an engineering discipline
