As a HR Administrator at SUEZ recycling and recovery UK, you’ll be contributing to an ever growing established company that’s helping customers reduce their impact on the environment, conserve natural resources and reduce landfill.

Reporting to the Senior HR Administrator, the HR Administrator will be responsible in providing general administrative support service to the wider HR team. This role is available on a Fixed Term Contract for 12 Months covering maternity leave.

What will I be doing?

Providing day-to-day administrative support such as composing employment related letters, filing, handling incoming calls and logging all queries/issues and passing to the correct person for a resolution if not able to handle personally.

Processing Contract of Employment within set SLA’s.

Operating of the IT systems and HR database.

Liaising with and supporting the HR team and wider community.

Processing contractual changes in a timely manner to meet strict Payroll deadlines.

Processing Disclosure Barring Service applications.

Monitoring and auditing employee’s files.

Placing stationary orders and processing invoices.

Dealing with all other administration duties.

What are the requirements?

Applicants must be able to demonstrate good communication skills and an understanding of confidentiality

The candidate will need to be well organised and be process driven, also work under own initiative.

Working as part of a team, the successful candidate must have advanced IT skills with experience in Microsoft software and a GCSE qualification.

Experience of working within HR is desirable but not essential

The applicant will need to have prioritisation skills and have a keen eye for detail

A friendly manner and compassion is essential due to the nature of the work
