About the role

What will I be doing?

  • Revenue can be up to £20million, so it’s vital that you’re equipped to manage resources, motivate and direct teams, take decisions, measure performance and develop the business.
  • Under your leadership, our plant will operate efficiently and produce as much energy as possible.

What are the requirements?

  • You will need to have strong previous experience working in a managerial position, with the ability to build and develop teams, and have a track record of meeting financial targets and KPIs.
  • Experience of financial planning, budgeting and capital approval will also be vital for this role.
  • You’ll combine all this with either a degree or minimum HNC (or equivalent) qualification in Mechanical, Process or Electrical Engineering and your knowledge will cover the latest environmental and industry related legislation.
  • You should hold a Health & Safety qualification (ideally NEBOSH), plus you’ll have the determination and skills to run a successful EfW plant.
