As a Business Assistant at SUEZ recycling and recovery UK, you’ll be contributing to an ever growing established company that’s helping customers reduce their impact on the environment, conserve natural resources and reduce landfill.

About the role

Reporting to the Operations Manager, the Regional Business Assistant will be responsible for providing administrative and financial support and coordinating the production and distribution of reports and data submissions for the Surrey Contract and other external customers.

The successful candidate will work closely with a wide range of departments to ensure that the existing high level of customer service is maintained and improved where necessary.

What will I be doing?

Key responsibilities of the role include assisting in the resolution of queries from key clients and third party customers, assisting with the administration, co-ordination of SUEZ local authority contracts, and collating KPI reports to monitor production performance.

The successful candidate will also work alongside Managers and Supervisors to support and develop a better understanding of the impact of key operational decisions.

What are the requirements?

Applicants must be able to demonstrate that they are capable of working to deadlines.  Working as part of a large team the successful candidate must have strong communication skills and the ability to liaise with other team within SUEZ.

Experience of working with customers to understand their needs and deliver on these needs is essential.

A track record of the waste industry is desirable but not essential.

Candidates will require IT skills including word, excel and power point.
