As an Asbestos Analyst at Derwentside Environmental Testing Services (DETS), who offer a wide range of high quality accredited analytical services for the environmental, construction, waste, fuel and engineering industries, you’ll be helping customers reduce their impact on the environment . 

Due to our National reach, state or the art laboratories and continued growth, there has never been a better time to join our successful team. DETS take pride in providing high quality services to an accredited environment (UKAS 17025 standards) and over the years they have seen significant year on year growth and market penetration in the above sectors. As a result we are now looking for an Asbestos Analyst top join our Asbestos Team.

What will I be doing as an Asbestos Analyst?
 
As an Asbestos Analyst you will be providing support to our customers for the analysis of bulk materials and soils for the presence of asbestos in accordance with HSE publication HSG 248. You’ll be calculating, interpreting and analysing the results, as well as participating in the AISS.

What are the requirements? ( experience and qualifications)

You will hold a BOHS Proficiency Certificate ( P401 ) and preferably a minimum of 1 year experience in the analysis of asbestos samples.
