What will I be doing as a HR Systems Assistant?

You'll act as a first line support for all queries into the HR Systems team and provide an outstanding customer service to all customers.

Provide system related expertise in cross company HR projects and ensure that system developments are delivered successfully with the assistance of the HR Systems Manager.  You’ll provide coaching and support to users in the operation of the systems.  And you’ll use a system thinking approach to eliminate non value adding processes to design a efficient and customer focused service.

With data quality a priority you’ll work with HR Managers to control the structure within iTrent to ensure that it remains up to date, accurate and fit for purpose as well as ensuring correct security levels are applied for user access.  

To maintain the library of standard HR and payroll reports which provide information to relevant stakeholders and to write ad-hoc reports as required, using the SAP Business Objects system.  To carry out ad-hoc analytical work/projects for the HR Team in order to produce information and answers to queries.

What are the requirements? (experience and qualifications)

The HR Systems Assistant must have experience in the following areas:-

* Operation, development and maintenance of HR systems - preferably iTrent.

* Understanding of HR & Payroll Service processes, delivering a customer focussed service

* Problem solving and delivering systems related improvements.

* Systems thinking approach to processes and process mapping

* Interrogation of systems in order to obtain data and meaningful information;

* Experience in the use of SAP Business Objects or similar reporting system to produce meaningful information and statistics and answers to HR questions. 

Ideally the candidate will have experience of working for a large organisation and be used to working

with multiple stakeholders to produce accurate work and results within specified timeframes.  Attention to detail, numerical skills, the ability to present information clearly, accurately and coherently and a strong customer service ethos are also requirements of the role.
