With innovation and new technology, we can create a greener future. But we can’t do it alone – which is why we need your help. Be part of a team that’s building new solutions for our planet.

What will I be doing as am Inventory Controller?

Keeping an Energy plant running like clockwork is a major operational challenge. You’ll play your part by taking care of our stores inventory, which contains spares for our equipment and engineering consumables. It involves controlling, ordering and issuing stock, so that we always have the right spares when we need them. That way, the plant can run at maximum efficiency and availability. Our equipment and machinery is very valuable and you’ll have responsibility for financial management.

What are the requirements? (experience and qualifications)

To join our team ideally you will have completed an Engineering apprenticeship and have some knowledge of maintenance engineering. However, if you have good stores management experience and are well organised to take responsibility for all stock and spares for our EfW, we want you to be ready to manage our inventory from day one. That means you need to be familiar with computer maintenance management systems, budget and inventory control along with stores management. Training in health and safety and manual handling would also be very useful.
