Summary of vacancy

A new position has become available to support the growth of the internal Insurance and Risk department within SUEZ.

As an Insurance & risk Assistant Manager at SUEZ recycling and recovery UK Ltd, you’ll be contributing to a resource management company that’s helping customers reduce their impact on the environment and conserve natural resources.

 

The post holder will provide advice to stakeholders on insurance and risk related matters throughout the business.

Key responsibilities will be to assist in the relationships with the SUEZ Group's Insurance Manager, insurance brokers and insurance companies relating to SUEZ recycling and recovery UK and local insurance programmes.

This role is varied and involves supporting the Insurance Manager with overseeing  the delivery of an effective claims and incident management service to meet the needs of stakeholders -  both internal and external

There will be Interaction with third parties and service providers (including brokers, insurers, loss adjusters, solicitors etc.) so engaging communication skills will be a pre requisite.

Due to the level of administrative support to be provided by this post holder providing day to day support to the claims administrators and excellent eye for detail is required.

Further task to be undertaken are:

Take the lead where necessary on the management of significant insurance claims.  Provide advice and agree strategies

Coordinate the preparation and processing  of invoices from service providers for subsequent inclusion on SPOPS or via manual processes in line with Financial Policies & Procedures

Consolidate for circulation, regular financial and information summaries relating to reported incidents

Assist with the compilation and analysis of claims data for general and location specific circulation

 

The ideal candidate will be at Degree level or equivalent.

Have experience of working within an insurance team of a service-led business.

Excellent communications kills and good computer skills are essential.

Understanding of the insurance market and brokers.

Ability to think laterally and problem solve.
