Summary of vacancy

Join us in the resource revolution

We want to make our planet a better, greener place. And we’re making it happen. Across our business, little by little, day by day. We’re innovating to conserve resources; reduce landfill; and much more besides. We’re facing tomorrow’s challenges and looking them in the eye. Together, we have the power to bring change to the world. But we need a fantastic team to do it. We need you.

The role will be based at the PetroIneos site at Grangemouth and in the initial period a large proportion of the work will be supporting the SUEZ Services team at PetroIneos to ensure compliance with Plant Modification Processes and procedures. This is a 12 month fixed term contract.

The Senior Process Engineer will be a member of the UK Asset Engineering team. The Asset Engineering team supports the development and implementation of proposals including; feasibility, outline design and detailed design through to construction supervision and commissioning.  These proposals will typically be for small to medium refurbishment, remedial or improvement projects to existing assets.

The Senior Process Engineer will assist in the technical development of the team as well as providing process engineering input into the UK Services organisation. The relationship with the Services team is critical to enable the Engineer to identify and solve mechanical reliability issues.

Also the Senior Process Engineer will provide specific technical process engineering support to the Services team throughout the UK.  This would include development of PFD’s, P&ID, Control Philosophies, etc.

Health and Safety is a key driver and the role must deliver to complex safety standards and procedures. Good supervisory, communication and interpersonal skills combined with excellent client communication skills are required to enable projects to complete on time, within budget and to the correct specifications.
