We are looking for a diverse range of talented graduates to join our 18 month European Graduate Program, to deliver on real and meaningful business priorities.

You will already have some work experience through an industrial placement or summer placement to underpin your exceptional academic record.

About the role

About the role

As part of our growth sales team you will spend the first three months working with our field service team followed by three months with a Sales Account Manager. This will help you to develop your understanding of our business, our products and how we deliver value for our customers before you spend the remainder of the program embedded in the growth sales team with a focus on larger accounts and supporting sales opportunities across the country.

What will I be doing?

  • You will be responsible for maintaining and developing the client relationship and sales at both assigned customer sites and new sites for both specialty water and process chemicals. Full sales and account management training will be given.
  • You will be responsible for achieving order budgets through sales to new and existing accounts/clients.
  • You will work with current customer and prospect to meet desired sales and service needs.
  • You will maintain the integrity of strategies, implementation of sales and marketing programs and achievement of sales goals within the assigned territory/market.
  • You will develop and execute territory and specific account sales plan.
  • You will coordinate support resources to maintain and grow existing accounts and close new accounts.
  • You will participate in plant visits to gather data, relevant information and samples.
  • You will manage customer satisfaction and escalate customer concerns internally.
  • You will coordinate proposal activity.
  • You will meet or exceed assigned quotas (activities and results).
  • You will participate as an active local member of sales and operations team.

What are the requirements?

  • Chemistry, chemical engineering or science degree or similar.
  • Work experience for a minimum of two years post graduation preferred.
  • Availability to travel within assigned region.
  • Possession of driving license required.
  • Ability to prioritise and work within stringent deadlines.
  • Ability to effectively support multiple managers and teams.
  • Good project management and reporting skills.
  • Goal oriented self-starter.
  • Development skills with high integrity.
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Frequent travel within assigned territory.
  • IT literate, including proficiency in using the Microsoft Office suite of applications.
