We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic apprentice to join our dynamic recycling team in Devon. This apprentice will be working towards the Level 2 Waste Resource Operative Apprenticeship.

About the role

What will I be doing?

  • You will be loading and recycling materials in an outdoor environment, and will thus require an element of physical work and a lot of daily walking.
  • You will be working towards a Level 2 Waste Resources Operative Apprenticeship, where you will gain an understanding of the principles surrounding waste and recycling. You will spend 20% of your time studying and 80% of your time on-site.

What are the requirements?

  • We are looking for an enthusiastic, highly motivated and well organised individual to join us as a Waste Resource Operative Apprentice.
  • Grade C/D GCSE or functional skills mathematics and English are desirable, but can be taken alongside the apprenticeship.
  • It is essential to be helpful, courteous and respectful to both customers and colleagues.
