About the role

This is a team leader role, full time and permanent, 40 hrs per week in the summer and minimum 35.5 per week in the winter. This will be working 5 days out of every 7, including weekend work, and the starting rate of pay is £9.45 per hour.

What will I be doing?

You will lead and motivate the team to create a safe culture, also making sure customers receive an excellent level of service. You will be required to operate IT systems, mobile plant, complete paperwork, promoting recycling and diversion from landfill.

This will involve:

  • Controlling the exchange of containers by booking loads with the relevant person thus ensuring the site always has space to segregate and store material correctly.
  • Maintaining accurate records for the removal of materials from the site.
  • Ensuring SUEZ complies fully with its legal duties in respect of the health, safety and welfare of its employees and of other people who may be affected by his/her actions or omissions.
  • Co-operating with SUEZ and with other employees in order to comply with the site permit, comply with all applicable legislation, and SUEZ Policies and Procedures.

What are the requirements?

We are looking for a customer focussed, enthusiastic team leader and player, who will be expected to join the current site team to ensure site operations exceed the standards required. A flexible approach to work will be advantageous as you will be expected to cover holiday and sick days if required. 

Along with mobile plant trianing therer is the potential to gain IOSH qualifications & COTC level 4 Waste Transfer Hazardous certification.
