What will I be doing as a Mobile Plant Operator?

Mobile plant operative, to operate and maintain plant to company policy and procedures, Plant  includes Loading Shovels, 360 wheeled re-handler, shredder and MEWP used to load waste streams in to trailers for transportation, the pushing up of materials for storage and the shredding of materials for blending for use at energy from waste facilities.

Your normal hours of work are 38.5 hours on average per week, between the hours 06:00 to 21:00, Monday to Sunday, based on a 4 day on 4 day off working pattern 12 hours per day inc 1 hour unpaid  break for lunch.

1st and 2nd extra shift per week:     1 ½ x your hourly rate

3rd extra shift per week:               2 x your hourly rate

Bank Holidays:                            2 x your hourly rate and one day in lieu.

This will be paid up to £13.50/hour dependant on certification of plant and experience

What are the requirements?

In order to make an immediate impact, we are ideally seeking an experienced plant operator, who holds the relevant CITB/CPCS/NPORS certification or equivalent, but for the right candidate training can be given. We are looking for an enthusiastic team player, who will be expected to join the current site team to ensure site operations exceed the standards required, so you'll need:

A flexible approach to work will be advantageous as you will be expected to cover holiday and sick days if required.

A safety conscious approach with the desire to develop & embrace change to promote continuous improvement.

Previous experience within the waste industry or other high volume production processes is an advantage, but not a necessity
