As a Driver at SUEZ recycling and recovery UK, you’ll be contributing to an ever growing established company that’s helping customers reduce their impact on the environment, conserve natural resources and reduce landfill.

About the role

About the role

  • This position is a full time permanent role.
  • The working hours are Monday to Friday, starting times can range from 04:00 to 06:00, finish times can vary depending on the needs of the business’s day to day needs.
  • Saturday working is required, this is done on a rota basis.
  • Rate of pay is £10.20 per hour.

What will I be doing?

  • The role will involve the driving and operation of vehicles collecting commercial waste and recycling from our customers, delivering a high standard of service and ensuring compliance with our companies Health and Safety rules.
  • The work will generally be on a Refuse Collection Vehicle and RoRo’s.

What are the requirements?

  • You must be able to demonstrate a passion for professional driving coupled with good communication skills and a willingness to be part of a successful hardworking team delivering a high level of customer service.
  • An LGV Class 2 license, digital tachograph card as well as a Certificate of Professional Competence (CPC) card are essential.
  • Experience of working in the waste industry is desirable though not essential.
  • Good knowledge of tachograph laws.
  • Experience is preferred but full training will be given.
