About the role

About The role

  • We are looking to recruit a Laboratory Technician, in order to organise and undertake the analysis of samples within the inorganics section.
  • You will need to develop and maintain knowledge of standard operating procedures ensuring that procedures are followed and notify other relevant employees when this has not been complied with.
  • Working 40 hours per week Monday to Friday from 9am-5.30pm
  • Based in Consett.

What will I be doing?

  • To analyse and investigate results for a range of scientific work with soil samples.
  • Develop and maintain standard operating procedures ensuring that procedures are followed and notify other relevant employees when this has not been complied with.

What are the requirements?

  • Experience in a laboratory environment from industry or Education would be desirable.
  • If you are proactive, resourceful, self-motivated and have attention to detail, then we could be keen to speak with you.
