About the role

What will I be doing?

  • Be an integral part of the sales leadership team to ensure that we create a vibrant, inspiring and rewarding environment that will provide the best customer and colleague experience
  • To ensure that detailed customer knowledge is obtained and validated in order for the business to actively promote itself in existing and strategic operational areas.
  • To manage the price engine through collating effective market information.
  • To review all sales metrics and propose / implement actions to ensure we remain ahead of target
  • To continuously improve our processes in customer acquisition, management and retention.
  • Lead the bid management process for our large corporate tenders to deliver all bids on time, and to the highest standard

What are the requirements?

  • Background / Experience – Analytical role in a high volume-low margin service industry, operated in a continuous improvement environment or has study knowledge of continuous improvement methods.
  • A strong business administration background operating at a Senior level is essential , ideally with Bid Management, Sales / Business development and Account management experience.
  • Business understanding – strong financial and commercial understanding with a proven track record in data management and technical systems. A track record of improving business performance through data interrogation and process improvement.
  • Compliance – understands the need to operate in a compliant manner whilst at the same time competing in a challenging environment, delivering excellent customer service.
  • Customers (external and internal) – experience of managing service levels, the ability to create a positive customer experience whilst managing expectations, ensuring customer loyalty and managing profit levels by fostering commercial relationships.
  • People – open communication skills, experience of building successful business relationships. Able to communicate and negotiate both up and down. Ability to measure and motivate a team to deliver results
