About the role

What will I be doing?

Your primary focus will be to assist the Facilities/Procurement department in the gathering and collation of SUEZ site data, specifically data such as: building maintenance, security, cleaning and landscaping information. The data gathered will then form the basis of tender documentation to award new contracts for facilities’ services. Your role will include, but not be limited to the below also:

• Communicate with SUEZ sites, both remotely and (as and when it is felt required), visit the site to be ‘on the ground’ to clear up issues/gather data

• Build up an accurate Excel spreadsheet of information for all SUEZ sites on the current facilities management services they are receiving and contracts that are in place

• Build up a commentary section within the spreadsheet recording SUEZ site responses on the sort of facilities’ service they would ideally like/need. It is very important site staffs’ views and ideas are considered and reflected in the tender documentation

• Physically visit the sites to obtain information/hold meetings when remote calling is not enough to gain a full picture of the situation at the site

• Possibly from time-to-time be prepared to work additional hours to meet deadlines or in travel time

• Be prepared for an element of working on own as well as part of a team

• Having the support of Facilities/Procurement management, advise SUEZ sites where there is a requirement to check compliance with SUEZ governance and ethical/facilities’ good practices.  

What are the requirements?

With a solid base in data and financial administration - including business financial awareness/data analysis - you’ll be a strong team player, with excellent communications skills along with:

• IT skills: MSOffice suite of software, specifically Excel 

• Good administration skills

• Full driving license with car and be prepared to travel to SUEZ sites nationally

• Self-motivation and a proactive approach

• Opportunity to work from home with manager approval

• Not essential but ideally knowledge of the waste management industry.

What are the requirements?

With a solid base in data and financial administration, including basic business financial awareness, you’ll be a strong team player, with excellent communications skills, along with:

  • IT skills – Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Internet, Lotus Notes, financial systems or ability to learn.
  • Customer service experience.
  • Problem solving ability.
  • Knowledge of waste management industry.
