About the role

  • Supporting finance team with the coordination of payments

What will I be doing?

  • Checking payment runs and exporting from SAP to bank line for payment
  • Monitoring mailbox for one off payments, obtaining relevant authorisations and setting up payments as required
  • Uploading of bank transactions to SAP
  • Post incoming and outgoing payments to general, receivables and payables ledgers
  • Monitor company credit cards
  • Prepare monthly bank reconciliations
  • Prepare four-week cash flow forecast
  • Monitoring fixed asset mailbox and creating asset numbers in SAP module
  • Assist FP&A and Reporting Manager with data collection for external audit
  • Assist with preparation of monthly balance sheet reconciliations
  • Preparing and posting intercompany calculations
  • Assist with maintenance of SAP general ledgers
  • Assist with preparation of VAT returns
  • Liaising with other teams in the finance function (accounts payable, credit control)
  • Ad hoc assistance to FP&A team

What are the requirements?

  • Intermediate excel skills (VLOOKUP’s, pivot tables etc.)
  • Experience with SAP
  • Strong organisation skills, able to prioritise tasks and manage multiple work streams
  • AAT qualified desirable but not essential
