About the role

What will I be doing?

  • We’ll look to you to provide planned and reactive maintenance for all control and instrumentation areas of our plant. In fact, you’ll be the on-site expert for specialist equipment such as Continuous Emission Monitoring CEMs and DCS. 
  • At the same time, you’ll be a source of guidance for more junior staff, providing direct supervision and helping them develop their skills.
  • You’ll also supervise contract personnel, advise the rest of the team and form part of a 24-hour call-out rota, covering plant breakdowns outside normal working hours.  

What are the requirements?

  • You MUST have a degree/HND/HNC (HNC Level 4 is a minimum) in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, an
  • Experience within a maintenance engineering role, based in a process, steam raising or heavy engineering environment.
  • CMMS experience is desirable
  • IOSH is desirable
