About the role

What will I be doing?

  • You’ll be learning about the critical elements of the plant, making sure everything runs safely and efficiently, in a way that complies with environmental legislation. It means continuously monitoring, controlling, assessing and adjusting plant processes, and applying your expertise to any problems that arise.

What are the requirements?

  • You must have an interest in mechanical, electrical or process engineering and be able to communicate effectively using a full range of skills.
  • You must be able to work and interact effectively within a team.
  • You must be able to understand impact of work on others, especially where related to diversity and equality.
  • You must have good time management skills and the ability to complete work on time.
  • You must have the ability to handle change and respond to change management processes.
  • The apprenticeship, City & Guilds 0610 Certificate in Process Technology Level 3 (Chemical Process) Enrollment requires minimum qualifications of GCSE Grade C/4 or above in Maths and English and science.
