Here at SUEZ Recycling and Recovery UK, we are looking for a, predominantly field-based, Business Development Executive to work out of our Depot in Aldershot

The position is a permanent full-time contract where you will be able to earn a competitive base salary and uncapped sales commission, and have access to an extensive range of benefits. 

About the role

What will I be doing?/The Role

We are looking for a Business Development Executive to develop, manage and maintain a pipeline of new business in order to deliver growth for the Southeast Region. As a Regional Business Development Executive at SUEZ Recycling & Recovery UK, you’ll be contributing to an already established, reputable and growing recycling and recovery business that’s helping customers reduce their impact on the environment and aiming for a greener and more sustainable future.

As part of our dedicated Regional Field Sales Team, you’ll report to the Regional Sales Manager and be tasked with securing new business for SUEZ Recycling and Recovery UK. It’s a chance to put your talents to the test in a stimulating role, where you’ll bring new, profitable customers to the business.

Day-to-day, you’ll be out and about, building relationships with new clients and doing all you can to deliver an effective waste solution – one that meets all a client’s needs while delivering on targets such as Sales performance and Revenue.

You’ll operate in a specific geographic area, working closely with our teams to achieve your goals. That means you ability to communicate effectively will be crucial.

Who are we looking for?

  • Someone with a strong commercial background, with a hunger to develop and succeed
  • Experience of generating, managing and maintaining a sales pipeline and delivering against a 100% new business target
  • Someone with a record of achievement in new business sales
  • Experience of establishing and maintaining customer relationships
  • Ability to plan, organise and prioritise in line with Regional Growth Plans

A background in the Waste industry isn’t essential, as we’ll give you all the training you need. However, you must be capable of creating sales plans; direct selling; presenting to clients; and negotiating at all levels.

What are the requirements?

  • Pro-actively and reactively selling profitable new business within your area to meet set targets
  • Reporting leads, calls, quotes, and contract activity on the Company CRM
  • Driven, experienced and IT-literate, you’ll have a proven track record in new business Sales
