About the Role

Location: Sittingbourne

  • Salary £24,336 per annum / £11.96 per hour

  • Working 40 Hours per week

  • Working Pattern: Monday to Friday 6.00 am to 3.00 pm 

  • Required to work a Saturday following Bank Holidays
About the role

What will I be doing? 

  • The job entails keeping the streets of Swale Council clear of litter, rubbish and fly tipping
  • You will be asked to do this by litter picking areas, barrow sweeping and assisting our van drivers

What are the requirements?

  • Some experience of street cleansing would be preferable, but full training will be given
  • You must have a license which enables you to drive a vehicle up to 3.5 tonnes
