Summary of vacancy

Are you passionate about data and eager to grow in an innovative, forward-thinking environment? As a Data Steward, you will be at the forefront of managing and safeguarding our data, driving both integrity and compliance within our energy division.

In a return we offer salary of £41,870 plus up to 10% bonus (~ £4,187), Car Scheme (Company Car or Car Allowance ~ £7,187), Private Healthcare, Company Pension (5% ER), 25 Holiday Days + Bank Holiday, and benefits catalogue.
Total Package at the time of joining up to £53,244.

We'll help you progress and develop yourself further, and will support you with creating a development plan to achieve that.

About the role

What will you be doing?

As a Data Steward, your responsibilities will span three key areas:

  • Data Admin: You'll collect, analyse, and manage data, ensuring its accuracy and relevance.
  • Data Governance: You'll oversee the data life cycle, including collection methods, storage solutions, and validation processes, ensuring compliance with company policies.
  • Data Family: You'll secure sites' adherence to company and group data policies and regulations, promoting best practices across our teams.

This role

  • Follows a hybrid model: 3 days in the office and 2 days at home, with the potential to become fully remote after a successful probationary period.
  • Requires travel up to 40% of contracted time, including some overnight stays.
  • Can be nationally based, within commutable distance of any of our energy recovery/processing facilities.

 

What will you need?

  • Strong data management and analytical skills.
  • Experience in data governance and compliance.
  • Ability to secure and manage data according to company policies.
  • Flexibility to travel up to 40% of your contracted hours.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Eagerness to learn and adapt in a growing role.
