As a Service Delivery Manager/Transport Manager at SUEZ, recycling and recovery UK, you’ll be contributing to an ever growing established recycling and recovery company that’s helping customers reduce their impact on the environment, conserve natural resources and reduce landfill.
The role
The role is based at our I&C site in Denton, Manchester with a salary of £45,000 plus up to 10% bonus, Car/Allowance ( £7,500 ) , Healthcare, Pension

What will I be doing?
- You’ll make sure your site operates like clockwork, meeting agreed client service levels and delivering our regional strategy. It’s all about performance.
- You’ll create the kind of ‘right first time’ culture that encourages staff to give their very best while working with our team to provide the best operational solutions.
- You’ll also source and negotiate alternative disposal sites for certain waste streams, and manage the profitability of the mobile compaction routes and other systems.
- With responsibility for reviewing our offering and putting customer retention, growth and conversion strategies into action, you’ll be a key part of the wider SUEZ, recycling and recovery UK team.
What are the requirements?
- No experience in the waste industry? That’s not a problem – as long as you’re a highly motivated manager who knows how to serve up outstanding customer service.
- To really excel, you’ll need to have worked in an operational role within a high volume/low margin business model, where continuous improvement is key.
- We’ll expect you to have IOSH (or equivalent) and full CPC National Road Haulage qualifications and achieve a COTC qualification in 12 months.
- Plus you’ll need ADR awareness and a good understanding of the demands of a multi-drop business.
- Combine all this with the ability to develop and grow new business, and you could be well on your way to becoming part of our team.
