The role

To provide support to the Regional team in operational activities to maximise the performance of the business. You will be based from our offices in North Tyneside ( Hybrid Working - 2/3 days office/home) The salary is from £27,560-£30,043 plus Bonus, Holidays, Pension.

About the role

What will I be doing?

  • Provide administrative support to the Regional team based at the regional office, including weighbridge contract management.
  • You will report into the Operations Manager for the region.
  • Provide support to the Regional Manager for the production of Contract and Board reports
  • Assist in the resolution of queries from key clients and third party customers.
  • To set up and manage community liaison groups as necessary
  • To assist with the administration and co-ordination of school / public open days and visits
  • Assist in budget and financial forecast preparation.
  • Co-ordinate regulatory data submission to ensure timely collation and submission
  • Work alongside Location and Regional Managers to support and develop a better understanding of the impact of key operational decisions
  • To understand and deliver the needs of the customer

What are the requirements?

  • You must be able to demonstrate that you are capable of working to deadlines.  Working as part of a large team, you must have strong communication skills and the ability to liaise with other teams within SUEZ.
  • Experience of working with customers to understand their needs and deliver on these needs is essential.
  • Excellent IT skills Word, Excel, Powerpoint, internet, lotus notes,  or the ability to learn
  • A track record of the waste industry is desirable but not essential.
  • You will be required to have excellent knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite of applications.
