About the Role

  • Location: Landor Street, Birmingham
  • Salary: £41,592 + 15% shift allowance: Guaranteed Earnings £47,830
  • Shift Pattern: 4 on 4 off, alternating days and nights, 6-6
  • Benefits: 10% Bonus, 5% pension, 25 days Annual Leave + More
About the role

What are the requirements?

  • Mechanical engineering maintenance experience.
  • Experience working on conveyors, motors, and gearboxes etc.
  • Understanding of basic fabrication and welding.
  • Any NVQ or apprenticeship level training is advantageous.
  • Previous experience in the waste industry is advantageous.

 

What will I be doing as a Maintenance Technician?

  • You will provide planned and reactive maintenance for all areas of the plant, making sure installations and modifications meet the latest standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Working on a Material Recycling Facility.
  • Providing guidance and supervision to junior members of staff and contractors.
