Are you looking to make a real difference in Greater Manchester through your knowledge of events management and social media? Do you have an interest in upcycling and reuse?

SUEZ Recycling and Recovery UK have an opportunity for an Assistant Events Manager for our state-of-the-art Renew Hub in Trafford Park, who will create engaging social media campaigns on a variety of platforms to increase interest and awareness of our amazing Renew Hub. You will focus on creating content across established and emerging social media platforms, bringing the public a fun and exciting look into the Renew Hub and why it has had a positive impact in Greater Manchester.

The salary on offer is from £36,407 plus bonus ( up to 10%) ,pension, 25+8 Holidays

This position in Monday - Friday with the occasional weekend work. 37.5 hours per week some flexibility may be required.

About the role

This role requires you to work closely with the management team to market events and conferences at the Renew Hub and support the team in customer attraction and awareness around the region. We would benefit from someone with experience in event management and marketing, as we require creative-driven campaigns that will connect and engage a younger local audience.
