About The Role

Location : Kensington & Chelsea

  • Salary £19.61 per hour / £39,643.69 per annum
  • Working 38.75 hours per week
  • Working 5 days a week, Monday - Friday starting 06:30am - 15:15pm
  • OR 4 days a week, Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday starting 06:30am - 17:15pm both shifts with a 1 hour unpaid lunch break.
  • This may vary from week to week depending on the needs of the business and you will be notified of your shift pattern in advance. 
  • Overtime opportunities are available on a regular basis, and you will be required to work some bank holidays.

About the role

What will I be doing?

  • The role will involve driving and operating vehicles collecting household and commercial waste and recycling, delivering a high standard of service, and ensuring compliance with our customer’s Health and Safety rules, as well as our own at all times. 
  • Whilst the hours you will be paid are 38.75 per week, we operate a job & finish system; therefore, you are likely to finish earlier than the contracted hours each day.

What are the requirements?

  • You must be able to demonstrate a passion for professional driving coupled with good communication skills and a willingness to be part of a successful hardworking team, delivering a high level of customer service
  • An LGV Class 2 license as well as a CPC card are essential
  • Experience of working in the waste industry is desirable though not essential.
