As a General Manager at SUEZ, recycling and recovery UK, you’ll be contributing to an ever growing established recycling and recovery company that’s helping customers reduce their impact on the environment, conserve natural resources and reduce landfill.

The salary for this position is up to £92,021 Plus Car Allowance ( £11,361) up to 20% Bonus,10% Employer pension, Private Healthcare.

About the role

What will I be doing?

Reporting to the Managing Director of our Industrial and Commercial division, this is a senior role that will see you inspiring our team to achieve ambitious growth targets. Your role will be to lead and manage the Central region’s established commercial collection business, which is a price driven competitive market, hence the need to deliver the highest possible standards of service to our diverse customer base. Through your leadership and experience the team will have the motivation and skills to help SUEZ, meet its goals by putting customer service at the heart of your business. Together, you will retain and win profitable new business and achieve regional P&L targets. To succeed, you’ll need to build the best possible customer relationships, create a clear plan for development and growth, and understand market trends. To support, you’ll benefit from an enviable network of waste treatment and recycling assets, as well as a wider regional management team within which to build your strategy.

What are the requirements?

To join us, you will need senior management experience gained in a complex multi-site logistics operation, where service delivery is critical. You’ll know how to get maximum efficiency, how to service large national accounts and how to benchmark market pricing. You should also be adept at managing sales teams and getting the best out of people. It’s important that you’re just as good with customers, especially when it comes to managing service levels, creating great experiences and encouraging loyalty. With this expertise, plus your excellent commercial skills, you’ll be equipped to run our highly successful, evolving business.
