About The Role
Location: Luton based with travel to various sites by our depots in Luton, Wellingborough and Milton Keynes.
Locations including Luton, Leavesden, Bedford, Hatfield, Northampton.
You will need to travel from site to site, we will provide a work vehicle
- Salary £31,439.69 per annum / £12.82 per hour
- Working 47 hours per week
- Shift pattern Monday - Friday with occasional Saturday working
- Starting times: based on requirements of specific sites - typically 07:00am to 16.30pm
- Overtime pay at x1.5
- Bank holiday are required pay at double time
- Full PPE provided

What will I be doing?
Providing excellent levels of customer service to a number of our key account sites in line with their specific waste requirements to include collecting and sorting of wastes, maximising recycling and minimising contamination of waste streams.
A flexible approach is required to facilitate planned and reactive attendance at various sites.
- Full driving license is required. A vehicle will be provided with this role.
- Ensuring correct segregation of wastes and maintaining accurate records for the removal of materials from the site.
- Controlling the exchange of containers by booking loads with the relevant depots, thus ensuring the site always has space to segregate and store material correctly.
- Maintaining a tidy site within his/her areas of responsibility.
- Ensuring SUEZ complies fully with its legal duties in respect of the health, safety and welfare of its employees and of other people who may be affected by his/her actions or omissions.
- Co-operating with SUEZ and with other employees in order to comply with the site permit, comply with all applicable legislation, and SUEZ Policies and Procedures.
- Any other duties that are reasonably requested within the scope of the job-role which will vary by customer site.
What are the requirements?
With the potential to gain qualifications including IOSH health, we are looking for an enthusiastic team player who will be expected to join the current operative team to ensure operations exceed the standards required.
What you will need is:
- A good level of customer service and ability to work in a team.
- Ideally prior mobile plant use is desirable but full training will be given.
- A flexible approach to work will be advantageous as you will be expected to cover holiday and sick days as required, to include occasional Saturday mornings and bank holidays.
- Full Driving License
- Role will require airside (airport) access, and will require demonstrable 5 year work history and agreement to DBS check, as well as Airside Driving permit (costs covered by SUEZ)
