About the role
- Based at Avonmouth Merebank Road
Material Recycling Facility this role is essentially to enable commercial growth across the SW I&C region. As an integral member of the commercial team you will work closely with the leadership team to assist in identifying opportunities to improve and deliver growth.
This role is a mixture of analysis, reporting and liaison with the sales team and management.

What will I be doing?
- Key responsibilities of the role include being the initial contact for many of our sales enquiries and provide and maintain weekly reports of Key Performance Indicators to identify and prioritise incoming sales enquiries and opportunities
- The successful candidate will have experience in supporting commercial functions to operate efficiently to maximise growth potential
- Identify new business leads and trends.
- Assisting the commercial teams to maintain good customer relations.
- Create and present weekly reports to the Commercial Managers.
- To liaise with Commercial Managers on key KPI achievements, data management, commission allocations and performance review data.
- To support reviews of waste types with the managers to effectively remove/price out low profit making waste streams, and to monitor sales activity within the region.
What are the requirements?
- Ideally educated to A-Level standard as a minimum, applicants must be able to demonstrate business influencing skills.
- Working as part of a small strong team the successful candidate must have excellent problem solving, communication, numeracy and IT skills.
- A high level of competence of Microsoft Office, in particular working with Microsoft Excel to produce spreadsheets, graphs is essential.
- A successful track record of marketing is desirable, but not essential.
- Candidates will require commercial acumen, accuracy and a desire to succeed.
