About the role

  • Reporting to the Senior Financial Analyst, the successful candidate will be a key interface between Finance and Operations. 
  • Based at our location in West Sleekburn, the Financial Analyst will provide analytical support to the Regional Managers for the Processing and Material Sourcing divisions.
  • £37,135 + Car or Car Allowance + 10% Bonus + Benefits
  • This is a hybrid role - offering 2 days work from home once training completed. 

 

About the role

What will I be doing?

  • Key responsibilities of the role include providing financial analytical support, identifying profit improvement opportunities in the businesses,  providing financial support for new tenders and working closely with the Regional Managers in the formulation and implementation of business plans.
  • In addition to this the Financial Analyst will also support the Senior Financial Analyst with the preparation of budget/forecasts for the region.
  • The role will involve regional travel with over night stays and as such attracts a car or car allowance.

What are the requirements?

  • The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills and have the ability to influence, persuade and negotiate with senior managers, external contacts and other stakeholders.
  • The successful candidate will be a Partly or Fully qualified accountant.
  • Knowledge of LEAN principles (or similar Value driven process ) is desirable but not essential.
  • Applicants must also be able to work on own initiative, to strict deadlines and organise their own workload.
  • Experience of working within the waste industry or supporting a business operation is desirable but not essential.
