About The Role

Location: Doncaster

  • Salary £13.95 per hour with a weekly retention rate of £71.60 per week
  • Working 40 hours per week
  • Shift Pattern Tuesday - Friday
  • Start times: 06:30am - 17:30pm with half hour break
  • Full PPE provided
  • Induction is a 2 day classroom practical training and the on the job training.
  • The chosen applicant will be expected to work as part of a crew of 3, driving on a designated route collecting waste of various types.
  • The role will also include engaging with customers

 

 

 

About the role

What will I be doing?

The role will involve the driving and operation a refuse collection vehicle collecting waste throughout the local Borough. Delivering a high standard of service and ensuring compliance with our customer’s Health and Safety rules as well as our own at all times.

What are the requirements?

  • Applicants must be able to demonstrate a passion for professional driving coupled with good communication skills and a willingness to be part of a successful hardworking team delivering a high level of customer service.
  • An LGV Class 2 license as well as a CPC card are essential.
  • Experience of working in the waste industry is desirable, however is not essential.
  • Experience of working with Stillage Vehicles – Kerbside Loaders and RCV is desirable but not essential as training will be given where necessary.
