Are you an experienced LGV Driver, with a current class 2 licence and valid CPC card?

Do you have experience working in a maintenance role and managing a transport yard? Would you like to bring this experience to an organisation dedicated to creating a greener UK?

About The Role 

Location: Eastbourne, BN24 5NA

  • £39,393.25 per annum + monthly bonus
  • 45 hours per week 4am – 2pm Monday – Friday
  • Working every 3rd Saturday
  • Outbrief of drivers am and debrief pm
  • Checking drivers and vehicles are H&S compliant
  • Defect and safety reporting
  • Supporting supervisors with daily operations
  • Covering regular drivers and loaders as and when required
About the role

What will I be doing?

  • The role will involve overseeing the briefing and debriefing of drivers and checking vehicles are compliant with our operators licence.
  • Defect safety reporting.
  • Ensuring paperwork is correctly completed and filed.
  • Supporting supervisors with daily operational matters.
  • To be able to cover the driving and loading of vehicles, as and when required.
  • This includes the collection of industrial and commercial waste from our customers and delivering a high standard of service and ensuring compliance with our customer’s Health and Safety rules as well as our own at all times.

What are the requirements?

You must be able to demonstrate a passion for professional driving coupled with good communication skills and a willingness to be part of a successful hardworking team, delivering a high level of customer service.
