As a compensation we offer basic salary of £42,707 - £50,096 plus Car Scheme (company car or car allowance- up to £8,007), BUPA private healthcare, up to 10% annual bonus, Company Pension, 25 holiday days + Banking Holiday, Benefits Catalogue.

About the role

What will I be doing?

You’ll be the go-to expert for our national TMS—managing a system used by 500+ colleagues and processing over 200,000 transactions annually.

Day-to-day responsibilities will include:

  • Leading the management, optimisation, and integration of the TMS
  • Owning the billing workflow and ensuring invoice data accuracy across 200k+ financial lines
  • Maintaining and developing Power BI dashboards and SQL queries to highlight trends and insights
  • Uploading rates, managing fuel surcharges, and maintaining contract pricing
  • Supporting new user training, documentation, and embedding best practice
  • Liaising with the external TMS provider (Staedtler Logistics – Germany), IT, finance, and operations teams
  • Collaborating with fleet teams to deliver vehicle, cost and compliance insights
  • Visiting operational sites as needed to support rollouts and projects

What will I need?

This role suits someone who thrives under pressure, solves problems with data, and wants to shape how logistics works at scale.

We’re looking for:

  • Proven experience in logistics, supply chain, transport, or business systems
  • Strong SQL and Power BI skills, with the ability to manage complex transactional data
  • Working knowledge of ERP or TMS integration (e.g. SAP/MM, Oracle, Transporeon)
  • Confidence handling financial data, rates, surcharges, and invoice flows
  • Clear communication skills and ability to manage multiple stakeholders
  • Strong organisational and time management skills, with project leadership experience
  • A continuous improvement mindset—ideally with Lean/Six Sigma exposure
