About the Role
- £35,000 Basic Salary + Van + 10% Bonus + Benefits
- AM SHIFT
- Week 1 - Tuesday - Friday / Week 2 - Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday
- 40.75 hours per week
- Relocation package available for the right person
- Based at Southend-on-Sea
- Must have a FULL UK Driving Licence for this position
- About the role

What will I be doing?
The contract supervisor is responsible for the day to day supervision and smooth operation of three sites, working collaboratively alongside a second supervisor. The role covers one WTS and two HWRCs, ensuring site operate safely, efficiently and in line with company policies and contractual requirements.
You will:
- Supervise daily site operations
- Ensure DRMs are being completed across the sites
- Ensure health and safety and operational compliance at all times
- Ensure rotas are up to date and sites are fully staffed
- Liaise with the Operations Manager regarding site performance, issues and improvements
- Work collaboratively with the second supervisor to ensure consistent standards
- Ensure incidents/ near misses are being recorded
What are the requirements?
- You must be able to demonstrate a good working practice and be able to make decisions accordingly.
- Working with and managing a team, you must preferably have previous recycling and waste management experience.
- Previous supervisory experience is essential.
- Experience of working within a busy logistics operation involving fleet compliance is also desirable.
- You will require a driving licence, good IT skills and previous experience with Microsoft packages.
