SUEZ is looking to recruit a Bid Manager to join our successful Industrial and Commercial Sales Team

About the role:
Salary: £43,562 - £51,098
Benefits: up to 10% annual bonus, 3 x life assurance policy, 25 days holiday plus 8 bank holidays, BUPA, and additional benefits.
Location: Based in Avonmouth, or other SUEZ South West Office - hybrid working 3 x per week in office. There will be some occasional travel required within the region when needed.

What will I be doing?
- You'll be leading on the Bid Writing for large National Accounts and give support to Regional teams on their bid writing for smaller national accounts
- You'll be tasked with Managing, producing and ensuring circulation of National bid pipeline reports
- Liaise with prospective national bid clients, other members of staff and external advisers and/or consultants to ensure appropriate inputs to tenders
- Build open and effective relationships between other members of the team and others within the SUEZ group.
- Ensure that all bids put together are done so to an extremely high standard
What are the requirements?
- Experience of developing bids in a multi-disciplined environment.
- An understanding of UK waste legislation and market drivers. An understanding of waste collection and street cleansing methodologies.
- Excellent inter-personal skills, communication, influencing and leadership skills.
- Strong writing and presentation skills.
- Good financial knowledge with the ability to develop financial models for tenders.
- Knowledge of public procurement regulations and the associated tender processes.
